Travel Support
The Magnus Ehrnrooth Foundation supports the participation of early-career researchers to ProbNum 2026.
We will distribute a number of travel awards to doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and other early-career researchers:
- The award is €1000 for international participants and €500 for participants from Finland.
- Researchers giving a talk or presenting a poster in the conference will be prioritised.
- You will receive the travel award after the conference via LUT University upon presentation of receipts.
How to apply
To apply for a travel award, send an email to toni.karvonen@lut.fi with the title “ProbNum 2026: Travel award” by 7th June (anywhere on Earth). You will be sent a receipt of acknowledgement. You should
- Briefly describe your motivation for attending ProbNum 2026.
- Attach a CV.
- State if you intend to present a paper submitted to the ProbNum proceedings or plan to submit a poster presentation. Include the title and abstract of the said paper or poster.
You will be informed of the decision by 17th June.
